Sponsor a child $250 per year - community based childhood obesity programs

We kindly ask for your support to grow and sustain Live Light Live Right. It is the generosity of our donors that enables us to provide quality, comprehensive services to overweight and obese children and their families.

$100 provides a thorough medical evaluation with a pediatric specialist for an uninsured child.
$250 provides a series of physical fitness sessions, including yoga and martial arts tailored for overweight and obese children.
$500 provides all program services for a child and his or her family for an entire year, including medical care, nutritional counseling , behavior modification, physical training, and incentives. Donors will receive regular updates on the child’s progress toward instilling healthy habits and improving health outcomes.

In-kind contributions
Our participants are in need of basic school and athletic supplies such as backpacks, sneakers, sports equipment, and water bottles. We also like to reward consistent participation with incentives like t-shirts and movie tickets. To make an in-kind donation, please contact us at (718) 240-8125.

Live Light Live Right is based at Brookdale Medical Center, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit teaching hospital, and all donations are fully tax deductible. 100 percent of contributions go toward direct services for children.
